"New Church Family Pictorial Directory"

A directory is a very valuable tool that helps everyone to place names with faces and enhances the sense of fellowship. The Fellowship Action Group has invited Lifetouch Church Directories to produce a Church Family Album for us. Each participating family will receive a complimentary 8 x 10 portrait and a FREE Church Family Album. All we need to make our new directory a success is you! Whether you are single, a couple or family with children, please help by scheduling a sitting for the directory. Remember: The more members photographed, the more useful our directory will be. Photos will be taken at church from Wednesday, Sept. 15 through Saturday, Sept. 18. Outside photos may also be submitted by those unable to attend the photo shoot. Sign-ups will begin on Saturday, Aug. 14, after the 5:30 p.m. service and on Sunday, Aug. 15, after the 9 a.m. service & before and after the 10:45 a.m. service.

Sign-ups will run each Saturday & Sunday until the photo date. You can also schedule your session online.

RALLY DAY WEEKEND “Plus”

Sept. 11th & Sept. 12th, 2010

Our annual kick-off for Christian education is going to be enhanced this year with the addition of a special 10th anniversary 9/11 service and the installation of Pastor Minnix as Associate Pastor at VLC.

Please join us in worship as we thank God for his blessings and rededicate ourselves to His mission:
Saturday, Sept. 11 - 10th Anniversary 9/11 Service of Remembrance at 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 12 - Sunday School start-up and faculty/staff installations at 9:00 & 10:45 a.m.
Installation of Rev. Roy Minnix as Associate Pastor at 4:00 p.m. with a reception to follow.
