Welcome to Village Lutheran Church and The Chapel School. Our mission is to "know, live and share the love of Christ" to congregation, children and community. As the Holy Spirit empowered the first disciples of Jesus to share the news of His resurrection, we too seek the power of the Spirit as we live out our mission. On behalf of our faculty and staff and all the baptized people of God and our partner ministries, we invite you to explore our site! Please see and hear our ministry in action, learn and grow through our educational and informative links and see if you may not find our ministry to be "a place for you" to "know, live and share the love of Christ!"

NEED A RIDE TO CHURCH?
We’ll help you… "Catch a Lift."
The “Catch a Lift” Program is our Transportation Ministry. For many people, especially seniors, people without transport or persons with disabilities, getting to church is a challenge. Although church can be a true lift to a Christian’s spirit, lack of transportation means that this needed lift may be missed.
Participants simply stop by the Taxi Company at the Bronxville Train Station or call and arrange a lift to church. Tell the dispatcher or taxi driver that this is a Village Lutheran Church “Catch a Lift” ride and there is no cost. The cost of “Catch a Lift” is covered by the grant directed by a generous church family. Call (914) 337-8311 and tell the dispatcher that you would like a
