NEW MEMBER CLASS
GodConnects is a video-based adult confirmation course developed by Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM). It teaches the basics of the Christian faith of the Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod (LCMS) in 12 relatable and easy to understand topics. Each topic begins with a short video and is supported with a downloadable discussion guide to go deeper. The topics are designed to get you thinking about your faith and how you can be a part of our mission “to know, live and share the love of Christ.”
Watch the introduction video for each session and then view the corresponding discussion guide. Each member of your family who is interested in membership at Village Lutheran Church should do this. It can even be a great “together” activity.
When you have completed all 12 topics, please notify the Church Office at (914) 337-0207 (1004) or VLCMAIL@VLC-NY.ORG. At an upcoming New Member Open House or at a convenient meeting with the Pastor, you can ask any questions you may have and become a member of our church. If you, or a family member, has not been baptized, we would love to share this Christian Sacrament. For adults who have not been confirmed, we would also love to share the Rite of Adult Confirmation.
We look forward to having you officially join our church and grow in faith together with us.
